Derry City’s 15th cup win in 28 seasons in pictures

DERRY City FC was the last football club to win a match at the old Lansdowne Road beating St Patrick’s Athletic in the 2006 FAI Cup Final.

Last Sunday the club returned en masse to the revamped stadium to heap further misery on St Pat’s and maintain its incredible record in cup competition since joining the League of Ireland in 1985.

In 28 seasons the Candystripes have won 15 cups, notching up a couple of FAI and League Cup doubles along the way.

Here’s a five minute slideshow of the club’s latest triumph featuring all the action and all the fans in Dublin last week.
