With just three minutes on the clock Chris Dowie capitalized on an error in the home defence to beat Annagh United’s goalkeeper Andrew Wright and give Moyola Park an early lead, thus scoring his 20th competitive goal of the season.

However, the lead was short lived as 6 minutes later Matthew Paget volleyed Paul Stretton’s free kick past Gareth Maguire.

A Scott McCordick effort from within the six yard box from Jordan Bell’s delivery was thwarted by Gareth Maguire. Annagh’s pressure paid off five minutes before the half time interval when Francis McCann was on band to head McCordick’s cross into the roof of the net.

The pace of the game was somewhat quieter in the opening minutes of the second half. Darren Walls and Steven Kenning had scoring chances for Moyola Park and on 65 minutes referee Colin Burns awarded a penalty to Annagh United - but changed his decision after consulting his assistant referee.

Michael Walsh gave the visitors something to celebrate when he beat Wright in the 75th minute to put the visitors back on level terms. Annagh United substitute Shea Campbell ensured victory for the County Armagh side when, with 10 minutes left on the referee’s watch, he headed Bell’s free kick into the Moyola Park net.
