Moyola grab crucial away win

MOYOLA Park travelled to Allen Park in Antrim on Saturday to take on bottom of the table Chimney Corner in a must win game.

The game commenced at an even pace in the early minutes but it was in 30 minutes when a great ball by Danny McElhatton to Robbie Lucas who was brought down in the box was awarded a penalty.

Curtis Hasson made no mistake putting Moyola in the lead by one goal.

A few minutes later Chimney Corner equalised and just before the half time whistle Chimney Corner went into a two one lead.

Moyola came out in the second half a completely different team and within minutes Moyola equalised when Stewart’s pass found Pattison who chipped the Chimney Corner goalkeeper.

Stewart scored the goal of the game from a pass by Kells when he chipped the keeper from 18 yards out.

Moyola made it 4-2 with ten minutes to go with good work by McLean who found Hassan who shot it home to make it the four two.
