MOYOLA Park Ladies were playing their first home game of the season against Bangor Ladies at the Mill Meadow on Wednesday night.
Moyola came out strongly, having three shots on target within the first fifteen minutes by Kenning, Brown and McCracken. After twenty minutes Moyola scored the first goal of the match, Leola McErlean beating the defender to score.
It was only a short time after that Bangor equalised. Courtney Brown scored a second goal for Moyola but just before half time Bangor equalised making it a very even game.
Following half time Moyola worked their way through the Bangor’s defence to create another opportunity for Leola McErlean who took her goal well to make it 3 – 2. It was only short time later that good work by Terri Simpson paid off and she scored the fourth goal for Moyola Park.
Bangor worked hard to keep in the game but good work from Moyola defence kept Bangor at bay.
A good positive performance by the Moyola Ladies going into the next game against Cappagh Spurs at home.
