News from Mill Meadow

AN international flavour of the Northern Ireland Milk Cup will come to the Mill Meadow on Friday 20th July 2012 when Premier teams Otago from New Zealand and Pachuca from Mexico will meet in a pre tournament game with a 12 noon kick off.

Moyola Park Youth are currently for coaches for all age groups. The club currently has a football development centre for ages 4 to 11 and also has teams at under 11, 12 and 16 level. It is also planned to have other youth teams if possible.

Moyola Ladies, 15 years plus, have kicked off their new season with training taking place on Monday nights from 7– 8.15pm at the Mill Meadow, Bridge Street, Castledawson.  Anyone interested please come along and join us.

Also for the first year 11 – 14 year old girls also train Monday nights at the same time.

This training is to facilitate the coaching and the development of football for young girls feeding through to Moyola Park Senior Ladies team, also competing in competitions. For further information contact Valerie Martin on 07754450988

Zumba Classes take place every Wednesday night in the Mill Meadow and run from 7.00pm to 8.00pm and the instructor is Jana Ivanovova.

 Zumbatonic for Kids Classes has now closed for the summer and will recommence in September.

The FDC centre takes place each Saturday at Mill Meadow from 10:30am. Cost is £2 per week. It is open to all from ages 4-11. Registration is at 10:15am. Please come appropriately dressed, wearing moulded boots, shin guards and bring a bottle of water

Registration is £5, which must be paid within the first five weeks of attendance.

The Lucky Numbers drawn for Saturday 14th July 2012 – 5, 6, 19 and 21 and the £50 consolation prize was won by Joanne Donnelly.  The Jackpot Prize for Saturday 21st July 2012 stands at £5000. Tickets are available in the Social Club or from committee members and please note that the jackpot has now been capped at £5000.
