Rock recorded an emphatic sixteen point win at home to Aghyaran in the ACL Division 2 on Sunday last. Always in control Rock led at half time 1-6 to 0-3 with the Rock goal coming from Aidan McGarrity. The second half saw Rock maintain their dominance all over the field and a Diarmaid Carroll goal all but killed off the Aghyaran challenge. A second Aidan McGarrity goal followed as Rock finished the game strongly to run out comfortable and convincing winners.

The Reserves ran out one point winners 1-6 to Aghyarans 1-5 having led at half time 0-3 to 0-2.. Scorers: Mickey Mallon (1-0), Karl Kolbohm (0-2), Francie Bloomer (0-1), Aidan McCourt (0-1), Niall McWilliams (0-1), Kevin Mallon (0-1).

The minors lost out by two points in the league away to Eskra on Tuesday last. Final score: Eskra 1-11 Rock 0-12. They are at home to Aghaloo on Wednesday 25th April at 7pm.

Our U16s are at home to Naomh Padraig on Saturday 5th May at 4pm.

The U8’s took part in the U8 Go Games in Pomeroy on Saturday last and performed very well with wins against Stewartstown and Pomeroy and a narrow defeat against Greencastle. Many thanks to Pomeroy for their hospitality and for the refreshments afterwards. U8 and U10 training continues on Fridays from 6-7pm.

This years Summer Camp takes place in Pairc Naomh Padraig from Monday 30th July until Thursday 2nd August.

The club are running a “Last Man Standing” based on fixtures in the Tyrone ACL Division 2. Prize money is £300 and the entry fee is £10. For details contact Ciaran Quinn or any committee member.

Best of luck to Diarmaid Carroll and Tyrone Minors in the Ulster Minor League Final this weekend against Derry having qualified after defeating Cavan in the semi final on Saturday last.

Well done to our senior girls on a great win against Edendork.

Next Minor league match is on Monday 23rd April 7pm in Drumragh ahainst Drumragh.

First minor championship game will be on 30th April at 6.30pm in Edendork against Edendork.

Senior/minor and U16 training is on Tuesday and Thursdays at 6.45pm.

Our U14s got beat in semi-final of the Feile on Wednesday evening but they beat Coalisland on Saturday by 7 points. Well done girls.

Next Under league match will be on Thursday 3rd May at 7pm in Edendork against Edendork.

The First game of the U14 championship will be on 22nd May in Kildress against Kildress.

U14 training is on Tuesdays at 6.00pm.

U12s next match will be on Saturday 28th April at 11am in Rock against Donaghmore.

U10s next Blitz is on Saturday 5th May in Moy.

U8, U10 and U12 training will continue on Monday evenings at 6.00pm.

Exercise class is on Thursday evening at 7.30pm
