Tyrone ACL Div 3: Brocagh 0-9 Rock 1-11

Conor McCreesh carried on his productive vein of scoring form to assist Rock as they recorded victory against Brocagh and went joint top of the table in the process.

Brocagh registered six first half points as Mickey Hughes and Ciaran Donnelly doubled up plus Donal Robinson and Cathal Donnelly supplied singles. The difference at the break, though, proved to be a McCreesh goal and McCreesh also swung over four points into the bargain. Karl Kolbolm and Diarmaid Carroll tagged on single scores for the St Patricks who headed for half-time 1-6 to 0-6 in front.

Eugene Ryan and Hughes(0-2) constituted Brocagh’s second half score tally but Rock pressed on through Aidan McGarrity(0-2), McCreesh, Enda McWilliams and Cathal McWilliams who had scoreboard contributions at the opposite end.

Brocagh kept battling away but Rock outscored them by five to three in this half and thus joined Derrytresk on 15 points at the table summit, the St Patricks also with a game in hand as attention now turns to championship matters.
