Hard fought win for Thirds
Lisnagarvey Ladies Thirds had a hard fought match to defeat Portadown Seconds 3-2 at home on Saturday.
Goals came from Abby McQuillan, Megan Donaldson and Olivia Cumins, who had to beat a very active Portadown keeper.
However, the Thirds had to work hard to contain a very good Portadown, who scored from two Garvey defensive errors and created several more chances, but could not extend the lead.
This win sees the Thirds go top of Junior League 2. The Thirds meet Dromore Seconds next Saturday in the league at Ferris Park.
