Omagh man, Andy Smyth, claimed a hat trick as Cookstown II had a fine win over Mossley at Steelweld Park on Saturday.

The striker was in top form alongside Paul Watt and Mitch Greer up front and smashed a stunning brace in the first 20 minutes.

Keeper Josh Anderson made two top class saves at the start of the second half before Smyth added a third for the Reds and Paul Watt made the tie safe with a fourth.

Mossley did get a goal back but the result leaves Cookstown fourth in the league.
