Island Wheelers’ boys on podium at Castle Archdale

The Rafferty boys were both back on the podium last Sunday after some excellent riding in Castle Archdale. Lisnarrick.

Darren bettered his third place from the first round of the series at Blessingbourne by coming second in the Under 10 race. In the U8 race, Adam Rafferty matched his big brother by also finishing second; great results, lads!

Nine teams that took part in the pub quiz won by Teddy’s Team, consisting of last year’s team winners and a couple from the Square Wheelers. Well done to Mark and Sheila Cullen, Brian and Fiona McAllistair, and Brian and Margaret Cassidy. It was nice to see our neighbouring club support the event. They incidentally are having a pub quiz on Friday 1st March in PB Bar, Moy – all welcome. Thanks to everyone who turned up to make our annual quiz a very enjoyable and successful night out.

Saturdays - Cornmill, Coalisland 10am. Various distances, newcomers and youth welcome, pace controlled.

Sundays - Cornmill, Coalisland 10am. Various distances, usually 50-80miles
