Julian’s hard work pays off for Uganda charity
He ran to raise funds for local charity Abaana, which works with children living in poverty in Africa.
In what was his first marathon, Julian completed the race in a very impressive 4:11:42 and raised an even better £700 towards the work in Uganda.

A spokesperson for Abaana said: “We are so grateful to Julian for all his time, effort and commitment in completing the marathon and raising such an amazing total to help boys and girls living in poverty in Uganda.
“The money raised will help make a genuine and substantial difference to their daily lives.”
