Students of Cookstown Tae Kwon Do Club recently took part in a grading in Antrim to advance to a higher grade of coloured belt.
Instructor Dale Fusco was pleased with the standard shown at such an early stage.
“The students showed great confidence and maturity when demonstrating the skills and techniques they have learned in such a short space of time since the Club began.
“The first grading can be a bit nerve-wracking with a panel of Senior Tae Kwon Do officials observing, but the students coped with the pressure well.”
Tae Kwon Do is a fast-paced martial art that aims to improve flexibility and fitness, whilst building confidence.
New members of all ages are welcome, training times are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm in Cookstown Primary School.
