Morris Peden wins monthly medal at Gracehill Golf Club

IN division 1 at Gracehill Golf Club, Morris Peden playing off 12, won the Monthly Medal with a nett 73.

Leslie McCauley (8) was runner-up with a nett 74. Alex Steele (11) was 3rd with a nett 75.

In division 2 Lee Munnis playing off 19 compiled the winning round with a nett 78.

In what could be considered a war of attrition only eight competitors out of the eleven that started completed their round.

In a case of last man standing Lee’s superior finish was just enough to relegate Charles McKane (22) in the runner-up position. Keith Bankhead (23) who also had a nett 78 was 3rd.
