NW200: Feature race called off because of high winds

The feature Superbike race at the Vauxhall International North West 200 on Saturday was called off because of high winds.

After discussions between riders and officials they decided not to go ahead with last superbike race of the day.

With the current weather conditions showing gusts of 40mph between 7pm and 7.30pm Vauxhall International North West 200 Event Director Mervyn Whyte consulted with a number of riders on the grid and decided to bring racing to a close for the day.
