Michael Rutter took centre stage on the opening day of the Vauxhall International North West 200, topping the Superbike times and finishing second fastest in the Supersport and Superstock classes.

Rutter is gunning for a 14th victory on the Triangle course and his performance yesterday proved he is still a formidable opponent in every class.
