Max men clear of Cookstown rivals in Seniors League

In Seniors Division One of East Tyrone League, the home teams all won 3-2, two of them derby clashes, while Mitchells INF recorded another whitewash win in Division Two, while Max Keady B and McVeighs A each won 4-1.

It was a top of the table derby in Keady, Phlip Gribben was the main scorer as the A team edged the verdict.

Mitchells A moved into third spot with a good win over visiting Gervins A, Ciaran Kelly fortunate to snatch a point against Seamus Mitchell after needing three snookers.

And Stephen Campbell won both his singles ties as he and John Hagan earned McKees B a close verdict against Owen McKee and Colm Kelly.

The Mitchells INF team movedc closer to the Division Two title after a flawless win in their derby against the B team, while McVeighs A and Max Keady C remain in the battle for second place honours by winning 4-1.
