Whilst St Johns will be difficult opponents the Tones youngsters are more than capable of bringing the cup back to Derrymacash

St Mary’s Aghagallon championship semi final came down with a bang as the were beat by a very good Portglenone side, both sides started of well but defensive mistakes and plenty of missed chances Aghagallon realised they were 10 points down in the 1st half.

But after a half time team talk they came out with all guns blazing with a superb individual goal from David McAlernon but they couldn’t take advantage as Portglenone ran out convincing winners by 2-13 to 1-9 winners .

Best on the day was David McAlernon Pat Brannigan and Ryan O’Niell they also like to mention to there captain Dessie Mertasaker who gets married this weekend who has hinted he might hang up the boots!
