Kilcreggan Urban Farm on Cbeebies this evening

Filming of a Cbeebies' show took place at Kilcreggan Urban Farm in Carrick.

All eyes will be on Kilcreggan Urban Farm in Carrick this evening (Friday) when it will feature on a children's television show.

Kilcreggan will be in the spotlight during Cbeebies’ “Down on the Farm” which will air at 5.00 pm.

The episode was filmed in December during a Christmas craft market.

Eight local children, aged from three to eight-years-old, who are regular visitors to the farm at Elizabeth Avenue, were invited to join in the fun with presenter Rory Crawford.

Sami Cullen, a member of the farm’s support staff, said: “Rory was very good with the kids. The kids showed him the different animals, pigs, hens and goats.”

She said that it had been a fun day for the children, residents, staff and visitors.
