Over £20m spent patching up the local roads
The money was allocated for minor road surface repairs over six years from 2007/08.
The initial allocations to the Northern Division for carriageway patching over the period was £21,317,000 in total.

Hide AdRoads Service is responsible for over 25,000 kilometres of public roads together with about 9,700 kilometres of footways, 5,800 bridges, 271,000 street lights, and 367 public car parks.
Roads Minister Danny Kennedy revealed the expenditure in response to an Assembly Question tabled by Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) MLA Jim Allister.
