Roadworks on Cookstown to Dungannon road to be completed at night
UUP Assembly Member for Mid-Ulster, Sandra Overend, has welcomed Roads Minister Danny Kennedy’s decision to complete final resurfacing work the A29 Dungannon Road overnight to avoid disruption to businesses in the area.
“The Roads Minister’s decision to complete final work... between the hours of 7pm - 6am to avoid road closures throughout the day and consequent disruption to business, is very much welcome.
“Initially Transport NI had agreed with contractors that the road would close for three days. I am pleased that a compromise has been reached,” Ms Overend said.
