Celebrate the sights and sounds of the Sperrins with a weekend of FREE events organised by Sperrins Gateway Landscape Partnership (SGLP) on May 20th and 21st at An Rath Dubh Hall in Moneyneena, Draperstown.

Funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, the ‘Spring Into the Sperrins’ weekend has a packed two-day programme featuring tours and talks, workshops, live animals, gold panning and a dawn chorus walk to name just a few of the many FREE attractions on offer.

Teaming up with a host of organisations and individuals including the RSPB, Ballinascreen Historical Society, the Rivers Trust, Ecomantella and Bats NI, Sperrins Gateway Landscape Partnership’s event will highlight the importance and beauty of the local natural heritage and biodiversity and share it with everyone attending.

Speaking ahead of the event, Fiona Bryant, Manager of Sperrins Gateway Landscape Partnership said:“The Sperrins area is packed with things to see and do and we are delighted to be able to share this at the ‘Spring into the Sperrins’ events on May 20th and 21st.”
