Video: Duet with American country star at 3arena a '˜dream come true' for Galbally schoolgirl

A Galbally schoolgirl is said to have '˜blown away' her music idol, Charles Esten when she performed with the American star backstage after the Nashville concert at Dublin's 3arena.

A GCSE student at St Joseph’s in Donaghmore, 16-year-old Caoimhe Loughran, performed a duet with singer, actor and comedian Charles Esten.

Her proud aunt, Jayne Ann McArdle, said: “He was blown away by her.

“She finished her last GCSE yesterday (Monday) and it was just amazing for her to do this... he is one of her idols.

“She has always loved country music and to achieve this was just one of her dreams.”
